And so the countdown begins to Beyond The Desert Edge, a human-powered expedition from the  Angola border – via the  Skeleton Coast, Hartmansns Valley and the Namibian  hinterland – all the way to  Walvis Bay.

I’m privileged to join forces with one of those daytime dreamers, Peter van Kets, as he navigates this arid wilderness by mountain bike,  laying fat tracks where no man has pedalled before. Together with Peter Kirk Media, we will document every incredible moment of this wilderness ride.
