Yesterday, our key partner Front Runner South Africa came to the party with their range of bomb-proof expedition fittings, and thus begins the transformation process of the Isuzu South Africa #Xriders. I met the #JediMaster @derryckmitchell of #FrontRunnerZA and his mobile fitment unit in Malmesbury and what a wrench wizard he is.

Everything from jerry cans, halogen lights, dual-battery systems, kayak racks, pop tents, storm-proof duffel bags, ammo cases, stratchits … you name it, we’ve got it. And we will be testing it to the absolute limit once we hit those remote Rift Valley rainforests of #Rwanda!

Next up is a full branding wrap and the fitting of the #DunlopSA #GrandTrektyres, and then we’re pretty good to go, with Derek Devine and Bertus Louwsetting off on the first stage of the 5400km #CapeTownToKigali sub-continental road trip in exactly 10 days’ time …
