One of my favourite days of‪#‎mountainbiking‬ in the world, with a wild night ride from /Ai/Ais to the remote and rugged Gamchab Canyon.

A wilderness site awaits the riders here, with the tents sheltered within the lee of a soaring 150m cliff. Peter Kirk and I climbed into the shale-shocked peaks surrounding the camp to shoot night exposure images, setting up shots under the zirconia glint of arachnid eyes.

Below us, the glow of the cooking fires cast amber shadows on the cliffs, while a million stars glittered above. If you have a mountain bike, you need to experience the grandeur of this amazing ‪#‎Namibia‬ space.
