Stoke by the bucket-load shooting Great Zuurberg Trail Run from the saddle of the Giant Bicycles South Africa #Stance this past weekend. There’s no doubt in my mind that an #eBike is the most time-efficient (and ecofriendly) way for sport shooters to get around on just about any outdoor event ????????
One thing is for sure : #GZTR19 and their #mtb sister event, Great Zuurberg Trek, boast some of the most epic trails anywhere in the country. The Hayterdale trails network near #AddoNP lies at the heart of this #mountainbiking paradise, and the #giant #ebike was the perfect weapon for this #singletrack heaven!
As always, the incredible OosKaap #adventureprovince came to the party with a breathtaking nature overload. Grasslands ridgelines, verdant montane valleys, dinosaur cycadifolias trees dating from millions of years ago, superlative sunsets and even a close encounter with elephants at one of the nearby lodges … can it get any better than this? ????????????
Yup, it can, and it does! Our fabulous hosts at Zuurberg Mountain Villagecertainly pulled out all the stops. Gourmet country-style cuisine, the friendliest staff on the planet, Bridge Street Brewery beer on tap, cracking cranking right from your doorstep, and #addo just down #ZuurbergPass … I cannot imagine not being back here next year to shoot this beaut of a boutique event.
And doing it on the Stance #eBike is like having your cake and eating it, Bru … zigging trails, downhills at speed, and humming coolish tunes while cruising those impossible climbs. Take my money! Please ????????????
Once again, this OZone #mediaproject was supported by a number of other brands, including my good friends at Front Runner South Africa and SPOT Africa, plus I got to test my Garmin #Instinct on the bike, as well as at a super sunset surf at Point in good old #jbay ????
