Following up a stellar #mountainlife day in Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve with some aqua action … We rented boats in #kleinmond & paddled onto the estuary towards #Rooisand Nature Reserve in search of the local herd of #Overberg wild horses. I’ve had amazing interactions with them before, but yesterday they were grazing way off on the marshy plains, so instead we had to make do with kingfishers, cormorants, high-stepping herons & sub-sonic swift fly-bys. This hidden corner of the Cape is just sublime
