Passing through the vast, arid and unforgiving Kaokaveld  region of Namibia as the Dunloptyres SA Beyond The Desert Edge  Expedition approaches the Angola  border after more than 2 days of driving.

We’ve passed Sesfontein  and now on the road to  Purros,  the last little Moer and Gone  ‘town’ en route to Serra Cafema, a Wilderness Safaris  camp on the banks of the Cunene  River.
