So satisfying once all the packing is done and you can eventually hit the road. The Dunlop Tyres SA Beyond The Desert Edge Expedition has finally boomed from the rush hour and onto the N7, headed first for Namibia and then  Serra Cafema on the border of  Angola.

From here, Peter Van Kets, Peter Kirk, Graham Kirk and  Die Oom will navigate the Skeleton Coast Hartmann’s Valley,  Damaraland  and the Namib wildernesses southwards to Walvis Bay.
