Our exhilarating, intriguing and utterly intoxicating Isuzu South Africa#BeyondAukoerebis Expedition has guffawed its last hurrah, and what better place to wash all that desert dust from your soul than the beautiful Namaqua West Coast ????
Peter Van Kets was sorely missed as we took on the belligerent #WestCoastwaves, but so lekker to have Pistol Peter Kirk and Zane Schmahl from OZonejoin in a true #SKOI Specialkindofidiot session. Bamboes Bay klapped us for a six, but we regrouped after a Bean There Coffee Company coffee to take on a tempestuous harbour break just off the Doringbaai jetty. Some booming face rides along surging swell, with a few spectacular wipeouts to boot. Can’t wait to see Pistol’s video footage! ???? ????????????
Right now, we’re hightailing along the N7 after a chilled stay at Thornbay Accommodation, with great memories of Fryers Cove Winery, Thi Art Coffeeand the Viswater Trail lingering as a final reminder of our incredible experiences within southern Africa’s captivating arid interior. And yes, we did have a Darling Brew moment on the Namaqua West Coast cliffs to give thanks as the sun set on our final BEYOND AUKOEREBIS day.
