OK, so WISA’s Young Water Professionals are ‘passionate about waste water’. Bet that’s not something you hear very often, but you’ll be pleased to have these guys on your side when you think about what you actually drink. I accompanied them on an Educational Trip into the Berg River catchment area on World Water Monitoring Day, and got some inside info as they took the battle for cleaner water literally back into the local sewage trenches. Shit Stirrers? Maybe, but you have no idea what you’ll be drinking if they did not fight the good fight for you and me.
