The Bergrivier Tourism Region brims with interesting characters, each one of them navigating their life path in their own, authentic way. In Laaiplek, we bumped into the HoBo Fisherman, a self-proclaimed ‘Slayer of Garrick’, while he was fishing off the harbour wall. He was a man of few words: “I
