Views by the bucketload, the full gamut of trail terrain and running within two of Cape Nature’s most gorgeous nature reserves … All of this comes as part of the package when you enter the QUANTUM CLASSICS Series BERG & BEACH Stage Run. Once again, runners from around SA (including a strong contingent of Gauteng athletes) faced off against each other and the elements, with Tiaan Erwee and Nicole Marais taking individual honours over the two days. Impressively, Marais also took second place overall, and shattered the existing record by an amazing 19min despite a strong headwind on Day 1. Kudos to all athletes who managed to complete this testing but rewarding two-day route.
