Winding down the final days of 2012 (obviously the earth did not implode as per the doomsday-sayers) … Part of the holiday was spent on the edge of Darlington Lake with Johnny and Sheri Henderson. Karoo sunsets, moer-and-gone horizons, monster-fishing in real life with the kids, free-range steaks that would satisfy a T-Rex and muddy hikes with leechy legs. Add to this a few days in J-Bay, with some good Old Grommet waves thrown in for good measure. All in all, good times, and making good memories along the way. And to end it all off, family time in Fish Hoek, with Kay, the kiddies and dogs, and all the special people who make our lives so rewarding.
