This is what happens when you find out your neighbours are actually closet rock gods. Not of the head-banging kind, but rather as far as extreme exposure and looming crags go.

I did a quick hike in to Foreign Policy, adjacent to the Muiz Crags, and grabbed a few shots with the #A7R2 while Christo Swanepoel, Nichelle Swanepoel and Tristan Firman played on a Grade 23 route with a ridiculously overhung approach.

They called it a ‘soft’ route. I would have used the word ‘mental’ instead, I think. Seriously impressed.
