WoodOwl Yoga and Treatment Studio

I’ve been shooting some photos for Karyn‘s #WoodOwl Yoga and Treatment Studio, trying to capture the stillness and immersive spirituality of our little ‘peace of forest’. This is a glimpse of her feet, shot through a fringe of ferns, and with dappled light diffused by our wood-wide web.
I’m slowly – and meticulously – figuring out how the use of #AI fits into my imaging workflow, blending real-world visuals with multiple skins and overlays. The aim will always be to retain the integrity of my imagery, but sometimes enhance them with layers of visual info my camera cannot capture. It goes without saying that this process must always be transparent.

There will be naysayers, but there can be no argument that AI is catalyzing a generational change in how we create, research and live. But hear this: if you don’t know how to brief that machine, you’re f*cked. You’ll end up wasting days creating content, and still end up sounding and looking like a badly-tuned algorithm. So, here’s the deal: either pay good photographers, writers or illustrators, or employ a top #AIwrangler … there’s no in-between.
