Here’s a little-known fact: the Swartland Tourism Region stretches all the way from #Kasteelberg and those inland wheat fields to the tip of the ‘tame’ #WestCoast. Yup, and it includes one of my absolute favourite coastal villages, Yzerfontein Tourism!
This was the last stop on our journey through the #Swartland, and what a way to say goodbye to this diverse area … A culinary taste experience at Grounded – Yzerfontein, with chef Kobus blowing our minds; gin tasting at Wright’s GIN at the Yzervark Bistro & Bar; a horse-back ride along 16-Mile Beach with West Coast Horse Trails; brekkie at Rosemead Bakery; and even a quick surf for Die Oom (unfortunately in rather messy conditions)
