This tiny amphibian is a Painted Reed Frog (Hyperolius marmoratus), showing its ghostly pale day-time colour morph. Although it’s not a true tree frog, it has adapted to use specialized adhesive toe pads – just like those hoity-toity arboreal cousins – to take full advantage of our humid indigenous coastal forests.
