So it turns out my short pant was not quite the right outfit for this year’s Trans Baviaans 24HR MTB Race. Rumours of snow and ice rain abounded, but my parallel universe kindly delivered the odd slanting shaft of celestial light in between winter showers and gun-metal gray clouds.

The baboons and vervet monkeys looked properly bedremmeld, but not quite as bek-af as some of the freezing riders. Always an absolute adventure here in the intoxicating Baviaanskloof Mega Reserve World Heritage Site with @Ecobound Mountain Events. And next weekend we do it all again at the #Repeat
