African #speedsailing champ Karo van Tonder (and extreme speedsters from all around the world) were fully focused and dialled into the zone at the annual Luderitz Speed Challenge here in #Namibia. These aqua adventurers laid it all on the line when they converged on the 1km-long, man-made channel gouged into the sedimentary soil of the #Namib.
This rates as the oldest desert on Planet Earth, and the gruelling playground here forced the athletes to pit mind and body against galeforce winds gusting at up to 60 knots. Today was the the last day of the event, and what a magnificent finale it was. Thanks for getting us up here, ISUZU South Africa
