As indyllic a day for a surfski event as you could wish for, I suppose … False Bay delivered blue skies, perfect wind conditions and surging swell for a superb field of paddlers from around the country.

Full results and more images will follow soon, but it was once again a strong showing by the local ‘Hoek’ contingent. Jasper Mocke bladed to a record time to beat Hank McGregor to the beach, with Dawid Mocke just about on their wake. Nikki Mocke dominated the Womens field, followed by Michelle Burn and with Michele Eray claiming a third.
