Silly Season … it is upon us! But before you start dreaming of Xmas feasts and New Year parties, December still has a good few events in store for those dyed-in-the-wool outdoor folks. This past weekend’s SPUR DUO combo (grab a bite of 25km of mountain biking and 6km of trail running) rated pretty high on the To-Do List for anyone with the proverbial ‘taste for life’.

Quantum Adventures Events presented their final SPUR event for the year at Oak Valley Wine Estate near Grabouw, and one could not really wish for a better venue. Superb single-track, stunning scenery and buckets of summer sunshine made it a joy to be out on the trails, and the water crossings for the family racers became extremely popular as the temperatures rose.

A huge thank you goes to all the racers who smiledat my Sony cameras during the course of the year. I hope you guys all have a fabulous break, and come back refreshed and full of the joys of life in 2014. See you on the trails, SPUR People 🙂
