“Surfing is almost a way to fly”

~ Jeff Hackman

Nothing beats a #NewBoardDay Grace has been standing up on her #boogieboard for months now, so it was high time to get her onto a #softtop from the guys at RYD Brand.

As luck would have it, the price was also right at on the friendly #Jikileza Route here along the Eastern Cape‘s (tame) Wild Coast. Uncrowded back lines and hide-away beaches allow you to #surf with a few close friends or family, and fully immerse yourself within the tranquillity and peace that come packaged with #ocean time.

Robster was up at 4:30am to paddle out into the drizzle, with only two of us on the liquid glass sets rolling in. Peter Van Kets did pull in a bit later, but did not completely mess up the peace Rob’s surfing has levelled up a few notches and no wonder, with all the effort and energy he has put into it. And what better way to supplement this overdose of #ozone stoke than with a hit of #arabica at the Sama Sama Coffee & Smoothie Hotspot once your arms can just not paddle one more stroke.

Super impressed with the superb visual quality of the new GoPro South Africa #GoPro9 from Orms – a seriously cool visual tool!
